Brief description

:

The project was  executed at the industrial  complex of Hellenic Petroleum, Aspropyrgos, Attica, and included the following works:

The project basically concerned the revamping of units 2500 & 2600.

§        During units operation, infrastructure works were carried out, such as:  civil works for foundations of equipment and bases of steel structures, prefabrication and erection of the steel structures possible due to the unit operation. Furthermore, all works and preparations for the prefabrication of piping networks of petroleum products and utilities were carried out.

§         During the Units’ turn-around, the following works were carried out:

-            Dismantling of old equipment and installation of new equipment, installation of all prefabricated  piping networks for interconnection of the new with the existing equipment, modifications and interventions to existing product networks, modifications of  existing metal  parts and erection of new ones 

-            All electrical and instrument works for the operation of the Units with the new philosophy

-            Maintenance works of the Units’ old equipment (opening, cleaning, repairs due to  corrosion, hydraulic tests, closing)

§       For the completion and commissioning of the Units all required works on the thermal insulations, sandblasting-painting, quality control, tests (piping networks, electrical and instruments) were carried out.  

Piping Network  diameters: ½" ÷ 48",  thickness up to 22mm

Materials : carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel

Pressure tests of product networks and utilities: 20 bar ÷ 180 bar

72% of all works were carried out within the 30-day period during the units’ turn-around.

The equipment and the piping network materials, electrical and instrument networks were supplied by the project owner.

The materials of steel structures and supports, electrical grills, sandblasting-painting and insulations were supplied by our company.
