Brief description

:

The works were carried out at the industrial facilities of Hellenic Petroleum SA, in Elefsina, Attica, and included the following:

§         Construction of internal and external scaffolds for the towers and pressure tanks

§          Blinding and opening of external access manholes

§         Dismantling of internal tower and tank ports so that the inspection department of the refinery could enter

§         Internal cleaning of equipment using mechanical means and high pressure water blasting

§         Replacement of catalyst in reactors based on the refinery procedure under the supervision of foreign company

§         Local repairs of  trays and replacement of screws and valves

§         Internal & external closing, removal of scaffolds and restoration

§         Hot bolding upon the production units starting to operate with torque wrenches based on the procedure

When the unit was stopped, local replacements of pipes C.S, diameter ranging from ½’’ to 24’’ were carried out.
